Luis García Jr. commits to Gigantes del Cibao despite joining Yankees

He pledged to remain available each winter season, emphasizing the pride he feels wearing the Gigantes uniform and his desire to support the franchise and its fans.

García highlighted his personal connection to both teams, noting his Bronx upbringing and the opportunity to play for his family in New York while also returning to the Dominican Republic each December to help the Gigantes pursue the league championship.
