Luis Henry Molina criticizes judge selection process

Luis Henry Molina, President of the Supreme Court of Justice, has issued criticisms regarding the evaluation and selection process for high court judges as he departs from his position.

Molina stated that all political parties “have acted exactly the same” regarding the National Council of the Magistracy (CNM), though he noted their actions remain in accordance with the Constitution. While acknowledging the political nature of magistrates, Molina maintained that his own management was not driven by partisan interests, stating, “No one can tell me that I made a decision based on a party.”
