Luis Islas conducts football clinic and talent scouting in Tres Arroyos

Former 1986 World Cup champion Luis Islas visited Tres Arroyos, Argentina, to conduct a sports clinic and talent scouting session focused on youth football development.

During the visit, Islas oversaw a selective trial involving over 70 young players from local youth divisions. He noted that while many participants showed good technical skills, they still require significant physical development to compete at higher levels of Argentine football.

In addition to the field activities, Islas held a technical clinic for coaches, physical trainers, and sports directors to provide methodological tools for strengthening grassroots football. He also addressed the current institutional state of Club Atlético Independiente, where he serves as a supervisor, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing youth academies over external acquisitions.
