Luis Jara and Ignacio Ormazábal release new ranchera single

Chilean singer Luis Jara has released “Empezar de nuevo,” a romantic ranchera collaboration with artist Ignacio Ormazábal. The track serves as the third preview of Jara’s upcoming album, “El Viaje,” which is scheduled for a live presentation at the Gran Arena Monticello on November 14.

The collaboration originated after Jara discovered Ormazábal through social media recommendations while seeking an opening act for a show. To promote the release, the artists performed an unannounced musical intervention at La Vega Central in Santiago, surprising vendors and visitors in the traditional market.

Produced by Franco Maestri and composed by Jaime Ciero, the song features traditional ranchera elements including trumpets, vihuela, and violins. The recording took place at Estudios Vinilo, a studio owned by Jara.
