Luis Miguel discharged after heart surgery, returns to Mexico
Mexican singer Luis Miguel was released from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after undergoing a cardiac operation. The procedure was performed by a team led by Spanish cardiologist Valentín Fuster and was described by sources as successful and non‑urgent. Following discharge, the artist travelled to Mexico to continue his recovery in a private setting.
Throughout his hospitalization, Miguel was accompanied by his partner, Spanish designer Paloma Cuevas. Neither Miguel nor his representatives have provided official comment on the surgery or his health status, but reports indicate his condition is stable and that he will remain in Mexico for convalescence.
