Luis Montaño Leads 4T Preference Poll in Atizapán, Mexico

A series of five opinion surveys conducted by AIMSA between February 2025 and June 2026 shows Luis Montaño, the PVEM businessman and political leader, as the most preferred candidate within the 4T coalition in Atizapán de Zaragoza. The study records a 42 % internal preference for Montaño, with his public awareness rising to 59 % and a positive opinion increase to 66 %. He scores highest on honesty, closeness to people and commitment fulfillment, outperforming other aspirants, including PAN candidates such as Patricia Arévalo. The poll also notes a decline in approval for the municipal government of Pedro Rodríguez (from 54 % to 44 %) and highlights water and security as the main concerns of local residents. AIMSA concludes that the political landscape in Atizapán is reconfiguring ahead of the 2027 elections, with growing support for a possible alliance among Morena, PVEM and PT.
