Luis Nava leads community emergency‑response training in San Juan del Río, Querétaro

Luis Bernardo Nava Guerrero, Secretary of Social Development for the state of Querétaro, headed a training session for the "Promotores de la Paz" in San Juan del Río. The event was part of the "Primeras Alertas" program, which aims to strengthen prevention, community organization and families' capacity to respond to emergencies. Participants received instruction in first aid, fire‑fight techniques and the planning and execution of drills, tools intended to improve rapid, coordinated action while professional emergency services arrive.

During the same visit, Nava facilitated a meeting with merchants from the Reforma Market and members of the San Juan del Río College of Architects. The dialogue focused on creating a joint work agenda to improve market facilities, boost commercial activity and enhance conditions for workers and local families. Nava emphasized that safer, more resilient communities require active citizen participation alongside institutional support.
