Luis Piedrahita leads coach training programs in Qatar

Ecuadorian football professional Luis Piedrahita has taken on a new role in Qatar, leading training and development programs for football coaches. At 29 years old, Piedrahita is utilizing expertise gained from various international leagues to contribute to the development of new technical strategists in the Asian nation.

Piedrahita’s career includes significant roles at clubs such as Independiente del Valle, where he was part of the technical staff during their 2019 Copa Sudamericana victory, as well as Botafogo, Charlotte FC, Sporting de Gijón, and Leganés. During his tenure at Independiente del Valle, he worked alongside players who later achieved European success, including Moisés Caicedo, Piero Hincapié, and Willian Pacho.

Having previously worked with Al-Wakrah in 2024, his return to Qatar focuses on professional training activities, sharing methodologies acquired across South America, Europe, and the United States.
