Luis Sáez reaches 4,000 career victories in the United States

Panamanian jockey Luis Sáez has reached a historic milestone, recording his 4,000th career victory in the United States. The achievement occurred during the Alabama Day event in the second race of the program.

Sáez secured the win riding Rothschild for the Norm Casse stable in a $125,000 Allowance Optional Claiming race held on a grass track. Since beginning his career in the U.S. in 2009, Sáez has become one of the most consistent riders in North America, ranking fifth among all Panamanian jockeys in total U.S. wins.

His career highlights include victories in the Belmont Stakes (2021 and 2024), the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, and the 2020 Saudi Cup aboard Maximum Security.
