Luis Ybarra manages upcoming Bienal de Flamenco
Luis Ybarra, the youngest director in the history of the Bienal de Flamenco, is preparing for the upcoming edition of the festival. In his second term, Ybarra is focusing on a balanced program designed to attract diverse audiences and ensure ticket sales.
As the festival approaches, Ybarra noted the intense coordination required for the more than 70 scheduled shows. He also highlighted the reopening of the Lope de Vega theater as a venue for the event after a three-year closure. Ybarra has expressed a need for a more stable, year-round team to support the festival's complex administrative and production requirements.
