Luisa Stefani and Gabriela Dabrowski reach US Open quarterfinals

The women's doubles partnership of Luisa Stefani and Gabriela Dabrowski has advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open in New York. The Brazilian-Canadian duo secured their spot with a decisive 2-0 victory (6-0, 6-3) over the team of Eri Hozumi and Andreja Klepac.

Stefani, ranked 4th in the WTA, expressed satisfaction with the performance, rating the duo's play a “9 out of 10” while noting there is always room for improvement. This progression follows their earlier rounds where they defeated Irina Khromacheva and Anastasia Detiuc.

By reaching the quarterfinals, Stefani and Dabrowski maintain their strong 2026 season, which includes three WTA titles in Dubai, Strasbourg, and Eastbourne, as well as deep runs in other Grand Slams. Their performance has already guaranteed them a place in the WTA Finals in Indian Wells. Their next opponents will be determined by the match between Jiang Xinyu and Zhang Shuai versus Miyo Kato and Fang-Hsien Wu.
