Luisa Vergara eliminated from MasterChef Celebrity Colombia

Actress and comedian Luisa Vergara has been eliminated from MasterChef Celebrity Colombia 2026. During an elimination challenge involving a 60-minute free dish, Vergara prepared a ceviche titled ‘Sabor a mar’.

Despite previous success in the competition, including winning the first immunity pin of the season, the judges criticized her dish for poor seasoning and improper cooking. Chef Nicolás de Zubiría specifically questioned her choice of tilapia and the lack of flavor intensity in the ‘leche de tigre’.

Following her departure, Vergara shared her experience on social media, noting that she intends to focus on her stand-up comedy routines, including her show ‘Madre Solo Hay Una y Me Tocó a Mí’ in Medellín.
