Luisito Comunica sparks viral debate after awkward TV interview

Mexican YouTuber and entrepreneur Luis Arturo Villar Sudek, known as Luisito Comunica, sparked a viral debate following an awkward moment during a live interview with 12 News in Phoenix, Arizona.

During the segment, host Yolanda García asked if there was any personal information he had never shared with his followers. Villar Sudek responded with apparent seriousness, “Yo nací mujer, por ejemplo” (I was born a woman, for example). The comment resulted in several seconds of silence before the influencer clarified it was a joke, stating he expected the host to laugh.

García responded by noting that the topic is “muy sensible” (very sensitive). The clip has since circulated widely on social media, dividing public opinion. Some viewers defended the journalist for maintaining professionalism on a sensitive subject, while others criticized the influencer’s sense of humor as being out of place.

The interview, which was originally published on September 30, 2026, also touched upon Villar Sudek’s business ventures, including his tequila brand, Gran Malo.
