Luisito Comunica reviews street food in Dominican Republic and Panama

Mexican content creator Luisito Comunica shared his culinary impressions of various countries during an appearance on the podcast ‘The Wild Project’.

Comunica ranked the street food of the Dominican Republic as ‘a madness’ (una locura), placing it second in his personal top five list of best street food experiences, following Mexico. He also praised the festive atmosphere and the character of the Dominican people during his visit in September 2024.

In contrast, the YouTuber described Panamanian cuisine as ‘weak’ (floja), stating that his gastronomic experience in the country did not convince him. While offering a critique, he noted that his opinion was based on his specific experience and expressed an openness to returning for a guided street food tour if locals were to recommend specific dishes.
