Luiz Henrique remains at Zenit after failed transfer bids

Zenit attacker Luiz Henrique is set to remain with the Russian club following a busy transfer window. Despite significant interest from several major clubs, Zenit rejected high-value offers to facilitate his departure.

AS Roma reportedly offered a package worth approximately 43 million euros, including 38 million euros in fixed fees and 5 million in bonuses, but the proposal was declined. Brazilian clubs Botafogo and Flamengo also attempted to bring the player back to Brazil, but negotiations faced financial hurdles and complex player exchange proposals.

Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad has reportedly initiated contact to evaluate signing the player as a potential alternative to their primary target, Anis Hadj Moussa. Meanwhile, Luiz Henrique continues to focus on his performance in Russia and his aspirations for a call-up to the Brazilian national team.
