Luján Municipal Choir Opens Free Auditions for Children and Youth

The municipality of Luján, together with the Chamber Choir “Ernesto Storani,” announced a free audition process for the Municipal Children’s Choir. The call is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 17 and does not require any prior choral experience. Interested participants must send an email to coromnlujan@gmail.com or a WhatsApp message to 11 3569‑2331 with the child’s name, guardian’s name, ID number, birth date and contact phone. After the initial contact, audition dates will be arranged. Selected singers will join the choir for concerts and other cultural activities. Secretary of Cultures and Tourism Nicolás Capelli said the initiative counters a national trend of reduced policies for children and the recent dissolution of the National Children’s Choir, aiming to broaden youth participation in choral music.
