Luján municipality upgrades main entrance and Parque Ameghino

The city of Luján is carrying out a series of urban‑renewal works. At the main entrance, the iconic totem, fountain and the “Luján” sign are being repainted, the lettering replaced and new warm‑tone LED lighting installed to improve night visibility and protect the structures from weather damage.

In parallel, the municipality is refurbishing Parque Ameghino. The project includes burying medium‑ and low‑voltage power lines, improving drainage, rebuilding pedestrian concrete paths, upgrading internal vehicle streets and renewing the park’s landscaping and urban furniture. The works aim to enhance safety, accessibility and the visual quality of the park for residents and visitors.
