Luján to host first national Malvinas veterans pilgrimage
Luján will host the first National Pilgrimage of Malvinas War Veterans on September 20. The event aims to bring together former combatants from across Argentina for a day of faith, memory, and recognition.
Organized by the Municipality of Luján in collaboration with the Federation of War Veterans of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Confederation of Malvinas Combatants, the Luján War Veterans Center, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Luján, the pilgrimage seeks to honor those who defended national sovereignty. Mayor Leonardo Boto stated that the cause is a permanent part of the nation's identity and that the event holds deep symbolic and spiritual value.
The itinerary begins at 10:00 AM with a gathering at the Complejo Monumental Malvinas Argentinas, followed by a procession to Plaza Belgrano. An official ceremony will take place there, followed by a Holy Mass at the Basilica at 1:00 PM.
