Luján to host Gran Premio Ciudad de Luján cycling race

The city of Luján will host the fifth edition of the Gran Premio Ciudad de Luján on Saturday the 22nd. This event serves as the official kickoff for the 2026 Bonaerense Road Cycling Championship.

The competition features a 3-kilometer urban circuit located on Nuestra Señora de Luján Avenue, stretching between the Ana de Matos roundabout and the city access roundabout. This layout is designed to allow spectators to view various categories of the race from multiple points.

The event will include several racing categories, ranging from promotional races and Master levels to Elite, Sub 23, and Junior divisions. Participating teams include prominent national groups such as Sindicato Argentino de Televisión (SAT), Rider Factory, Team Murray, Municipalidad de Lanús, Sunpeed, and Team SF, as well as the local women's team D’amico Roak Pavé.
