Lukáš Haraslín adapts to extreme heat and high league quality in Saudi Arabia
Slovak footballer Lukáš Haraslín is adjusting to life in Saudi Arabia following his transfer from Sparta Prague to Al-Fateh. The 30-year-old winger has highlighted the extreme physical challenges posed by the region's climate, noting that training temperatures can reach 46°C. During a match against Al-Faysaly, Haraslín reported losing 3.5 kilograms in just 90 minutes due to the intense heat.
Despite the difficult start to the season, Haraslín expressed surprise at the high quality of the Saudi league, stating it is more competitive than many might assume. While Al-Fateh currently sits 15th in the standings, Haraslín has remained a consistent starter, scoring one goal so far. He aims to increase his contributions through goals and assists as he continues to acclimate to the new environment and culture.
