Luka Bošković Aims for European Championship Final in Birmingham

Serbian long jumper Luka Bošković, 20, has recently cleared eight metres four times, with a personal best of 8.23 m recorded on 26 June. He was junior world silver medallist in 2024 and won a bronze at the 2025 European Championships, currently ranking ninth on the world list.

Bošković will compete in the men's long‑jump qualifiers at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham on 10 August, aiming for a jump between 8.00 m and 8.05 m to secure a place in the final scheduled for the following day. He will be the youngest participant and hopes his experience and confidence will carry him to the final round.
