Luka Doncic files Hague Convention petition for daughters

Luka Doncic has filed an international petition under the Hague Convention to bring his two daughters, Gabriela and Olivia, from Slovenia to the United States. The legal action is part of an ongoing custody dispute with his former fiancée, Anamaria Goltes.

The petition, filed in Slovenia, seeks to secure or organize the effective exercise of parental access and custody rights. The dispute reportedly also encompasses issues regarding child support, attorney’s fees, and visitation rights. While Doncic has focused on his professional commitments with the Los Angeles Lakers, his daughters currently remain in Slovenia.

In a statement shared with The Athletic, Doncic emphasized that maintaining a meaningful relationship with his children is his highest priority, stating, “Nothing is more important to me than my daughters. I will do whatever it takes to make sure they have both parents present in their lives.”
