Luka Doncic hosts Lakers minicamp in Slovenia, 16 of 17 players attend

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic is organizing a four‑day minicamp in Ljubljana, Slovenia, for his teammates in August. The camp, paid for by Doncic, will feature workouts, pick‑up games, golf and sightseeing to build on‑court chemistry and off‑court camaraderie.

Sixteen of the seventeen players on the Lakers roster have confirmed they will travel to Slovenia. Rookie forward Cameron Carr will miss the trip because a mandatory NBA rookie‑orientation program conflicts with the camp dates, leaving him as the only player staying behind.

The initiative comes as the Lakers rebuild around Doncic after the departure of LeBron James, aiming to foster team bonding before training camp begins in September.
