Luka Dončić files Hague Convention petition for daughters
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić has filed an international petition under the Hague Convention to bring his two daughters, Gabriela and Olivia, from Slovenia to the United States. The legal move is part of an ongoing custody dispute with his former fiancée, Anamaria Goltes.
Dončić stated, “Nothing is more important to me than my daughters. I will do whatever it takes to make sure they have both parents present in their lives.” The petition seeks to secure effective rights of access or residence in the U.S., where Dončić is currently preparing for the upcoming NBA season.
The dispute follows the end of Dončić and Goltes' engagement in 2026. While Dončić spent much of the summer in Slovenia with his children, he has since returned to Los Angeles for training camp. Dončić is represented by high-profile attorney Laura Wasser, while Goltes is represented by Evan Ickovic.
