Italian goalkeeper Alberto Brinjoli has commented on the resurgence of Serbian striker Luka Jović at AEK Athens. Speaking to Gazetta, Brinjoli attributed Jović’s recent success to the trust and central role provided by Serbian coach Marko Nikolić.

Jović, who previously played for Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Fiorentina, has found significant form under Nikolić. He has recorded 25 goals in 50 appearances for the Athens-based club, contributing heavily to their qualification for the Champions League.

Brinjoli, a former Juventus goalkeeper, also reflected on his own career trajectory, noting his recent Champions League debut following an injury to Tomas Strakosha. He described his journey from the Italian fourth tier to the Champions League as a dream realized, despite the intense concentration required during matches.
