Luka Jurković debunks false claims regarding Maksimir stadium project

Luka Jurković, a lawyer and nephew of Zvonimir Boban, has debunked viral misinformation claiming he is an architect working for the Milanese studio that won the international competition for the new Maksimir stadium in Zagreb.

The false claims, which circulated on social media, incorrectly identified Jurković as an architect named Nikola Anđelić and misnamed his mother. Jurković addressed the rumors on LinkedIn, noting that the error serves as a cautionary example of how artificial intelligence can propagate and recycle incorrect information found in unverified online comments.

The winning design for the stadium project was submitted by the Italian firm VG13 Architects Studio Associato, with authors Tommasa Fantini and Alberto Rossi. Zvonimir Boban served as a member of the judging panel for the competition, which received 88 entries from over 20 countries.
