Luka Kecman appointed selector for 72nd Sterijino Pozorje

Theatrologist Luka Kecman has been appointed as the selector for the 72nd Sterijino Pozorje festival. The decision was made by the festival's Governing Board during a meeting held on September 17.

The festival is scheduled to take place in Novi Sad from May 26 to June 3, 2027. In his role, Kecman will select between seven and nine productions based on domestic dramatic texts for the competitive program, as well as up to three productions for the international selection, ‘Krugovi’.

Kecman, a professor at the Academy of Arts at the University of Banja Luka, succeeds Svetislav Bulet Goncić. Kecman holds a doctorate in dramatic arts and has extensive experience in theatre criticism, scientific research, and playwriting.
