Luka Modrić returns to Milan via commercial flight

Luka Modrić has drawn significant media attention for his professional conduct following a team break. After a summer tour in Australia and Indonesia, the Croatian midfielder chose to return to Milan via a commercial Ryanair flight from Zadar rather than using a private jet.

Modrić arrived at Malpensa Airport in the early hours of Wednesday morning, traveling alone with only a national team backpack. Despite the late hour, he reportedly interacted with fans, providing autographs and photos to those who recognized him on the plane and at the terminal.

His decision to return via economy class to ensure he was present for training sessions at Milanello under coach Ruben Amorim has been contrasted by Italian media with the extended absences of teammates Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot, whose delayed returns have sparked discussion among supporters.
