Luka Modrić to Extend Contract with AC Milan

Croatian midfielder Luka Modrić, 40, is expected to activate the optional year in his contract with AC Milan, extending his stay through the 2026‑27 Serie A season. He joined Milan in June 2025 on a one‑year deal worth roughly €3.5 million net per season, with an option for an additional year that would keep him at the club until June 2027 under similar terms.
