Luka Modric silences critics with dominant performance for AC Milan

Luka Modric has silenced critics following an impressive performance in AC Milan’s 3-0 victory over Lecce in Serie A. The Croatian midfielder had recently faced scrutiny regarding his role within Ruben Amorim’s tactical system after underwhelming displays in matches against Lazio and Juventus, as well as a loss to Benfica in the Europa League.

During the match at the Via del Mare stadium, Modric regained control of the game by managing the tempo and facilitating quick ball movement, which helped Milan bypass Lecce’s compact mid-block. Analysts noted that his technical ability to find space and dictate play remains a unique asset to the Rossoneri squad. The performance suggests that rather than Modric being a tactical issue, the focus should remain on how the team organizes itself to support his specific skill set.
