Croatian national team captain Luka Modrić visited the famous Salt Bae restaurant owned by Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe in Dubai. During the visit he ordered the house steak, a cut priced between €250 and €300, which Nusret personally presented while repeating his signature “top, top, top” chant. The footage of the encounter was posted on social media and quickly went viral, drawing attention to the high‑price dish and the celebrity chef’s flamboyant service.

The video also highlighted that other football stars, including Germany’s Antonio Rüdiger and Jérôme Boateng as well as Barcelona’s young talent Lamine Yamal, have dined at the same venue, underscoring the restaurant’s popularity among affluent athletes.
