Luka Pangos transitions from MasterChef winner to self-sufficient farmer

Luka Pangos, the winner of the 10th season of MasterChef Slovenia, has transitioned from urban life to the countryside to establish a self-sufficient farm. Alongside his partner, Pangos is developing a seven-hectare estate intended for self-sufficiency and future boutique farm tourism.

Pangos noted that the project is progressing slower than anticipated due to ongoing processes such as awaiting building permits and working with mentors to enrich the local ecosystem. He emphasized that while the prize money from the competition was not life-changing in a purely financial sense, it provided the necessary capital to launch his business venture without significant debt.

The journey from culinary competition to agricultural life will be documented in a new series titled ‘Od Masteršefa do Master-Kmeta’ (From MasterChef to Master-Farmer), available on VOYO. Pangos stated the goal of the show is to demonstrate the realities and challenges of pursuing a greener lifestyle.
