Luka Stojković named Dinamo Zagreb's new number 10

Luka Stojković has been named the new number 10 for Dinamo Zagreb, taking over the iconic jersey from Gabriel Vidović, who recently transferred to the German club Paderborn.

Stojković, an attacking midfielder, joined Dinamo from Lokomotiva in the summer of 2023 for approximately three million euros. Despite facing a long period of inactivity due to a serious cruciate ligament injury, he has established himself as a key player. Last season, he was named the best young player in the SHNL and was selected for the league's ideal team, finishing the campaign with 13 goals and 12 assists across all competitions.

The assignment of the number 10 jersey signifies Stojković's elevated status within the club. His growing market value was highlighted earlier this August when Dinamo reportedly rejected a five-million-euro offer from Fulham, as the club values the player at a significantly higher amount.
