Luka Vrbančić leads NK Osijek to 4-2 victory over Dinamo Zagreb

NK Osijek secured a 4-2 victory over GNK Dinamo Zagreb, a result heavily influenced by the performance of Luka Vrbančić. The 21-year-old midfielder, a former Dinamo academy product, has become a central figure in Osijek’s tactical setup under coach Federico Bessone.

Vrbančić, who was transferred from Dinamo to Osijek for 250,000 euros last summer, serves as the link between defense and attack in Osijek's 4-1-4-1 formation. Despite Dinamo retaining a 40 percent share of his transfer fee, Vrbančić's impact was decisive in the recent match. Osijek's strategy involved resting key players during a midweek cup match to ensure readiness for this league encounter.
