Luka Zidane debuts for Leganés in victory over Real Oviedo

Algerian international goalkeeper Luka Zidane made a successful official debut for Leganés in a Spanish Segunda División match against Real Oviedo.

Zidane entered the game in the 26th minute after starting on the bench. His introduction followed a red card issued to starting goalkeeper Raúl Fernández in the 23rd minute after a VAR review of a foul on Chris Ramos. To accommodate the substitution, coach Rubén Albés replaced midfielder Yassine Kachloul with Zidane.

Despite playing with ten men for much of the match, Leganés secured a 1-0 victory. The decisive goal was scored by Tunisian striker Ismail Gharbi in the 19th minute. Zidane maintained a clean sheet during his 64 minutes on the pitch, making four saves and winning two aerial duels. The win places Leganés temporarily at the top of the league table with four points.
