Lukas Graham releases title track “Good Times” ahead of new album
Danish singer‑songwriter Lukas Graham has issued the title track “Good Times,” a spirited, roots‑driven song that opens his forthcoming 13‑track album of the same name. The album is slated for release on August 14 through Virgin Music Group.
The track draws on Celtic and folk influences tied to Graham’s Irish heritage, honouring his late father Eugene, a Donegal‑born music lover who introduced him to traditional folk musicians. An accompanying video mixes archival footage from Graham’s early career with recent scenes.
Recorded in Nashville and New York, the album features a collective of musicians—including uilleann pipes, Irish flute, mandolin, fiddle and acoustic guitar—to deepen its Celtic, bluegrass and acoustic feel. Graham first rose to global prominence with the 2015 hit “7 Years,” and the new release marks a return to the storytelling and musical roots that shaped his early life.
