Lukas Podolski launches Dürüm snack product at Rewe

Former German national football player Lukas Podolski is launching a new food product, ‘Poldis Dürüm To Go’, in the refrigerated sections of Rewe supermarkets. The ready-to-eat snack is a collaboration between Mangal Döner and the manufacturer Natsu.

The 300-gram Dürüm features grilled veal, yogurt-dill and yogurt-garlic sauces, pickled red cabbage, coleslaw, red onions, and shepherd's cheese. It is designed to be eaten either cold or warmed up.

Nationwide sales at Rewe began on October 5, with a scheduled launch in the Munich region on October 12. Podolski cited his personal connection to the product, stating he grew up eating Döner and understands the importance of flavor.
