Lukashenko's propaganda equates Polish Home Army with Nazis

Belarusian state media under President Alexander Lukashenko is portraying the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa) as a formation close to the Nazis. The narrative claims that Poles killed more Belarusians than the German occupiers and uses this distorted history to attack Poland, the Belarusian opposition, and the Polish minority in Belarus.

The regime’s campaign seeks to cast Poland as a perpetual aggressor and to delegitimize any independent remembrance of the World‑War II era, linking civilian casualties on the Polish‑Belarusian border, Home Army activities, and recent protests against Lukashenko into a single hostile front against Belarus.
