Luke Humphries explains facial skin irritation at World Grand Prix
Darts player Luke Humphries has addressed speculation regarding a visible wound or rash on his head during the World Grand Prix. After defeating Dave Chisnall 2-0 in the round of 16, Humphries clarified that the mark was not the result of a physical altercation.
Humphries explained that the irritation appeared after he filmed the television program ‘Bullseye’ on Tuesday. He woke up on Wednesday with a significant rash on the side of his head that eventually formed a crust. He suspects the issue may be an allergic reaction to the makeup or creams applied during the television production, though he noted he has not yet consulted a doctor.
Despite the skin irritation, Humphries confirmed he is feeling well and that the condition did not prevent him from competing.
