Luke Kuechly joins Netflix as lead NFL game analyst
Netflix has appointed former Carolina Panthers linebacker and Hall of Famer Luke Kuechly as its top NFL game analyst for the upcoming season. He will work alongside play‑by‑play commentator Noah Eagle, with their first broadcast slated for the Week 1 matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia.
The streaming service’s NFL slate now includes five games: the Australian opener, a Thanksgiving‑Eve game featuring the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams, a Christmas doubleheader (Packers vs Bears and Buffalo Bills vs Denver Broncos), and a Week 18 Saturday game. Kuechly, who retired after the 2019 season and will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month, previously served as a Panthers radio analyst and co‑hosts a podcast with former teammate J.J. Jansen.
