Adidas to release final Germany national team kit before Nike takeover

Adidas and the German Football Association (DFB) are set to end their 77-year partnership, with Nike scheduled to become the official kit supplier starting January 1, 2027. To mark the conclusion of this long-standing alliance, Adidas will release a final special edition national team jersey on November 3, 2026.

The announcement was made via a promotional video featuring various German football legends and current stars, including Joachim Löw, Jürgen Klinsmann, Philipp Lahm, and Manuel Neuer. The players discussed the most iconic jerseys in the team's history as part of the campaign.

The final Adidas kit is expected to be worn during the UEFA Nations League matches in November, specifically during the games against Serbia and the match against the Netherlands in Berlin on November 16. The transition to Nike will officially take place during the March international fixtures in 2027.
