Luke Shaw's future uncertain amid Manchester United injury concerns

While Carrick indicated Shaw ‘could possibly be fit’ for the match following recent absences due to injury, reports suggest the club is not planning to extend his stay beyond his current contract, which expires in June 2027. Shaw, the club's longest-serving player, may depart as a free agent at age 31 as INEOS prepares for a defensive overhaul next summer.
