Lula associates linked to Brasília mansion rental investigation
New investigations by the Federal Police have uncovered connections between the Atibaia ranch case and a recent rental agreement for a mansion in Brasília’s Lago Sul. The rental contract for the 2,100-square-meter property was formalized in the name of dentist Rafael Nicolau Fioruci Arbex, with a monthly rent of R$ 28,000. However, reports indicate that Roberta Luchsinger, a friend of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, participated in the negotiations.
While the defense denies that Lula resided in the mansion, former employees have claimed he visited the location at least twice a month. This development follows previous legal scrutiny regarding the Atibaia ranch, which was renovated by construction companies with government contracts.
Federal Police investigations suggest that Fernando Bittar, a figure central to the Atibaia case, is part of a group including Fábio Luís Lula da Silva (Lulinha) and Roberta Luchsinger that allegedly advocated for private interests before the government. This group is being linked to investigations involving Antonio Carlos Camilo Antunes regarding the diversion of funds from social security pensions.
