Carla Araújo joins SBT News political team

SBT News has announced the hiring of journalist Carla Araújo to strengthen its political and economic coverage in Brasília. She is scheduled to join the news team on September 9.

Araújo brings over two decades of experience to the network, having previously held roles at UOL, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Brasília branch, and Valor Econômico, where she covered the Palácio do Planalto. Her extensive career also includes more than ten years at Agência Estado, covering the National Congress, the Supreme Federal Court, and the Presidency.

Her background spans various significant political and economic milestones, including coverage of the impeachment process and pension reforms. Her addition is viewed as a strategic move for SBT News to enhance its specialized reporting during an election year.
