During a women's football friendly between Brazil and Argentina at the Beira-Rio stadium in Porto Alegre, spectators expressed political support for presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Following the national anthem, sections of the crowd chanted “Olê Lula, Lula!” and displayed campaign stickers and hand gestures.
