Lula leads major campaign rally in Recife to support Pernambuco candidates

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva participated in a major campaign rally in Recife, Pernambuco, to support the Frente Popular slate. The event featured a march from Cais de Santa Rita to Marco Zero, drawing a large crowd. Lula appeared alongside candidates João Campos for Governor, and Humberto Costa and Marília Arraes for the Senate.

During the mobilization, Lula addressed themes such as the end of the 6x1 work scale and regulations on sports betting platforms. He also emphasized the importance of a legislative body aligned with his national projects.

In his final campaign push through the Northeast before the October 4 elections, Lula is also scheduled to visit Feira de Santana, Bahia. This strategic visit aims to consolidate support in the state's interior, where the PT maintains a strong electoral base. The Bahia event is expected to include local leaders and candidates for governor and the Senate.
