Luleå Basket and Sparbanken Nord launch literacy initiative

Luleå Basket and Sparbanken Nord have expanded their long-term partnership through a new initiative titled ‘Läs som ett lag’ (Read as a Team). The project aims to increase reading engagement and confidence among children in the Norrbotten region.

As part of the program, players from Luleå Basket will visit fourth-grade students to serve as role models. This is followed by a four-week reading challenge where students are encouraged to read for 15 minutes every day. Sparbanken Nord is financing the project management role necessary to extend the initiative to more schools and students across the county.
