Luleå Basket suffers heavy preseason loss against Hannover

Luleå Basket, the reigning Swedish champions, experienced mixed results during their preseason preparations. Following an impressive victory, the team suffered a significant loss against Hannover in Germany.

Coach Robin Edbom expressed concern regarding the depth of the team's performance dip during the match against Hannover, noting that the team struggled to maintain intensity for long periods. He attributed the difficulty to travel fatigue and injury concerns, specifically mentioning that player Allison Day had only participated in one team training session prior to the game due to a thigh injury.

Despite the heavy loss, Edbom highlighted positive developments from new players, including Liv Nord, Sanna Ström, and Merissah Russel. The team is now preparing for their league opener against Visby.
