Luleå man sentenced to prison for spreading ex-wife's nude images

A 68-year-old man has been sentenced to one year in prison by the Luleå District Court for gross violation of women's integrity and harassment.

The crimes occurred during the summer of 2024 following the man's separation from his wife. The court found that the individual distributed nude images of his former spouse, including creating photo montages featuring her naked body and placing them near her residence and her new partner's workplace. These montages included the woman's name and phone number, accompanied by text suggesting she was engaged in sex work. Additionally, the man created an Instagram account to publish and spread the nude images.
