Lullusfest in Bad Hersfeld sees high attendance and peaceful celebrations
The Lullusfest in Bad Hersfeld has seen significant attendance with a generally peaceful atmosphere. Local police reported that Tuesday was well-attended and largely calm, noting only one incident involving a verbal dispute at Linggplatz that resulted in one man sustaining minor injuries.
During the festivities, Stadtkirchenpfarrer Frank-Nico Jaeger discussed the cultural and social significance of the festival. He noted that while the community spirit remains strong, there is visible dissatisfaction regarding political developments in Berlin and insufficient public transportation in rural areas. He highlighted the festival's ability to transform the city's character and serve as a force for local integration.
